One of the most visible and recognizable elements of Sagrada Familia are its towers.
Gaudí designed 12 lower towers, symbols of the apostles and six of greater height, highlighting one on all of them, the one which is representing Jesus Christ.
Outside, surrounding the building, you can admire the three facades that coincide with three key moments of the life of Jesus Christ: Birth and subsequent resurrection and glory.
The tower located on the Nativity facade is the most visited. This tower allows you to see the eastern part of Barcelona. Otherwise, the tower on Passion facade shows you the views of the most central part of the city. A view of the centre of Barcelona as you have never seen before.
As you can see, Sagrada Familia is a construction you can enjoy from all corners. Gaudí designed it with great detail to be admired from right to left and from top to bottom.
Select a modality, go out and see for yourself.
Important: Remember that the climb to the towers is by elevator, but the descent is made by stairs.

Should I know something else in mind?
Given the importance of this monument, one of the most touristic in the world, we advise you to read the "Sagrada Familia Rules and Regulations".
No problem receiving the tickets. Placed the order and they arrived within a couple of minutes via email. Bought combined tickets with Parc Güell. Both are great but very busy, the large tour groups and be a bit of a pain and get in the way. We didn’t need as long to look around the parc as expected, I think an hour would probably do most people unless they want to see everything. We went up the tower in the Sagrada which was good but the photo opportunities are spoilt a little as they have netting around to stop people throwing things out. The steps coming down are steep and narrow. The first part is fine but half way down they become narrower and smaller. A good experience but not for everyone because of this.
The visit was nice. You get in very fast. I believe the staff should be more strict about the dress code. Dressing properly shouldn’t be important only for praying but anytime you enter a sacred temple. It is disrespectful and even worse if people are changing inside the Sagrada Familia.
